They would roll on to there backs and act like they had been beaten. She had several that had been debarked and the males were kept in her garage, while the females were upstairs in her home. The whole house smelled so bad of urine that it burned your nose. We got out of there as soon as we could and my husband and I even changed in our garage and went directly to our showers. We just could not believe that anyone who showed her dogs would keep them like this. After talking to her we found out that she uses a handler and as soon as they are championed they are brought home to breed. These are not pets and do not get treated like pets at all. This woman was rude and I found it very uncomfortable to even be around her. This was not a loving environment for animals, I found it quiet horrifying. |
It's not the first time I've heard something like this about a registered breeder with show dogs and goes to show us that just because someone shows means nothing.
