| Night feedings Zoe has always had dog food and water in her ex-pen at night. (I free feed) But I want to start feeding her at intervals thru the day and night. She's 5 months old. I think she's ready to go a few hours without food at night so she won't want to get up at 4:30 in the am for potty breaks. She normally goes around 7 hours during the night...from 11 pm to 7 am. but lately the time between potty breaks has been getting shorter and shorter even though we haven't done anything different. So my question is how long do y'all go without feeding your puppies during the day and night?

| Jackson has never had access to food overnight since I brought him home at 9 weeks old, had no problems. I think you will be fine. He will be 2yrs old in October and eats in the morning and evening, sometimes skips morning meal. He has water access until we go to bed (usually 11pm) and then we go out for the last potty break for the night where he has no water until morning (9am).
