I've made it my personal mission to "police" my local Craigslist for bybs and millers,, and flag any ads that are in violation of the TOS. Several flags are needed for CL to remove an ad, and sometimes I guess I'm the only one out there paying attention, because the offending ads sometimes remain day after day

It would be so cool if everyone here did the same on their local Craigslist boards. It might actually slow them down some!

Yes, it was gone, YAY! Must be more people on there today looking out. Stupid byb'ers are always posting puppies for sale there, and also rehoming unaltered dogs, but particularly females Oh, and asking for and offereing stud services as well, everyone is trying to breed dogs now! Reputable breeder don't post ads on CL seeking studs or selling pups. All those posts violate the TOS of the site, and encourage these cheapskates that won't even pay for a $20 newspaper ad to sell their puppies I'm sure if they're that cheap that the poor dam and puppies didn't get much in the way of vet care or pre breeding testing.

Thanks for looking, don't forget to check your local CL board. They love to post on the pet board under "community" and also sneak them into the general section of the sale portion of the site. Oh, and under "services" the pet section has bad ads too. Sigh. Shoot, I just check every section a couple of times a day, time allowing.

Thanks so much I know CL is SO shifty for the most part I do love to look at the men seeking women ads just for giggles, it's always an older man looking for someone way younger and "no fatties" Of course, they ask for pictures too, while they don't post any of their face. I feel for all the single women that use that board to look for men Nut the ads are always entertaining

I wish they would just do away with that part of CL ! and those other sites that promote bad greeders , our local paper is full of them, the ones that bother me the most, willing to trade or barder sicking....

I've been looking for a stroller for my babies and have been seeing a lot of yorkies on Craigslist. I'm in Space Coast but look on Treasure Coast also. There are a lot of byb and scammers there. Good luck.

Me too The only problem with that is, they would just post them in the other sections. They already do that to try to avoid flagging. If we all flag these ads on our local CL boards, we could actually make a difference. The YT army is MIGHTY!!!

Well, howdy neighbor!!! Yes, lots of scammers. Help the doggies by flagging those ads you see on either board, if everyone at YT does this on their local boards, we could actually make a difference.

I do something similar with the AJC website. I find the ones that are obviously the "out of the country, send shipping money" scams. It's pretty easy to do since they all tend to use the same stock pictures.

I do this with CL all the time. In my local and the ones for the surrounding couties.
