| We just entered the multiple Yorkie world this week. We introduced our 3 year old Spicy to new pup Lucy on neutral territory. Lucy wanted to play but Spicy wouldn't even look at her. We are on day 3 now and its much better....Spicy has learned to jump on the couch when he wants away from her. Lucy still tries to chase Spicy to play but instead of just being scared, Spicy is starting to have some fun with her. I think we are on the right track...but like everything with puppies...it takes time. It's this potty training that is getting me....I had so forgotten how hard that part is! |

| Thanks! Thanks you all. Sadly me and my bf decided we wont be getting a 2nd yorkie..for now. We have to prioritize other things at the moment. I just get so carried away sometimes when i see these cute yorkie pups on petfinder. I just wanna adopt them all! Chewie will have to be my one and only baby...for now. hehe

| I don't know what I did wrong but Buster and Maggie still don't get along. Buster was almost a year old when we got Maggie. Maggie will be two next month, Buster will be three in December. At best, they only tolerate each other. They don't play together and when I try to engage both of them in play one of them will walk away. I think both of them wish they were in a one dog home....sorry kids.

YT Addict | I so appreciate your thoughts on this. I have been on the fence. My DH says NO NEW BABIES! But I think Mia would love someone who looks like her. She enjoys the Yorkies down the street. But BIG thing between playing and staying... I have spoken with Rose and love how cute Jeeter is but again DH says no but he does love Mia but will I ever find one that I love as much as Mia??? Mia bosses our 2 year old Westie Kismet around terrible so I can only imagine what she would do with another Yorkie.... But we never leave them alone together. I know rambling and confusing! AND Mia potties on a pad or outside like a champ, not a lot of barking so you all know the rest....... I guess Mia is destined to be an only Yorkie for a while longer..... Thanks for the therapy! |
