| No I didn't get out of the wrong side of bed this morning..... I've been on Yorkietalk for over 2 years now and have read over and over and over again postings about getting puppies around the age of 8 weeks and the vast amount of problems, both physical and emotional, they face. On this thread alone there are 25 msgs posted. 5 of these agree with me that this puppy is too young 13 are just congratulations on getting a puppy the remaining are either from original poster or blasting me for saying what others are thinking just won't post. The other posting I replied to today was from a person that took a 5 week old! This puppy is way way to young and the breeder should be punished for selling such a young puppy. My Yorkie was 11 weeks old when I got him........ from a breeder that knows the difference these 3 weeks make in a puppy. |

Seriously what is your problem? Do you think people on here need to be spoken to like that? This is VERY bad manored and not helpful to this person at all.

| I think he is just frustrated because people frequently take puppies home when they are too young, and then they come on here and complain because they are having behavioral problems. Perhaps it just wasn't the best way to put it.. Regardless- to the OP, congrats on your new baby! I hope you enjoy her and do a lot of research prior to bringing your little Stormy home! Honestly, the longer she stays with the breeder, the easier it will be for you in the long run. If she stays with her mom and littermates for a few more weeks then she will be better socialized and you can avoid some common issues like biting. Good luck!

Your message on my thread was a little rude after everything i had done to make sure my puppy was ok. Did you even read all my threat before you posted your reply?? Now you being rude on this girls thread. I think you have good intentions dont get me wrong but i just think you need a better way of saying it because at the moment your just being rude and there is no need for that. Maybe have a little think before you type your next comment

Why not bash the breeder who is selling the puppy too early instead of bashing the people who purchased the puppy. First of all, if you have no experience with puppies you may not know what age is too young. That is the breeders responsibility in my opinion. Second of all, the lady with the 5 week old puppy was very upset when she found out how old the puppy was because she had been mislead. And third of all, my momma always told me that if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all. Finally, don't every human being make mistakes? Amy you will make a great yorkie momma. Please don't let someone discourage you. There are WONDERFUL people here at YorkieTalk that will be glad to give you help and support!!! Stand firm girlfriend! And you go Sylvia!

| Thats a beautiful name. That was my first yorkies name and she passed away last July ![]() ![]() I would ask to hold off at least for another two to three weeks. I know the mom is weaning but the babies still learn alot from her. Zach didn't leave his mom early and he has great manners. Lola I can tell must of left her mom early because she loves to bite and has NO manners lol |
