| Winters almost here. Hello everybody its been a while since I was on YT. How everybody? Well winter is almost here in El Paso, and it will be my first winter with Mia. My question to you all is what precautions do I need to take in order for Mia not to get sick? How cold can it be so Mia can still go outside and play? What other thing would you recommend for me to get for Mia so she wont be cold? As always thanks for your help!!!!!

| Hi, how is little Mia??? Do you have current pics? I would get her a couple of little sweaters and not keep her out too long. They get cold very quickly keep her inside as much as possible! |

| Glad you're back!! We are thankful that we pad trained Toto since we never know where we may be in winter! We are about to spend our second winter in Colorado and boy is it cold!! Going out to potty is no problem in regard to warmth, but playing outside and the fact that we seldom ever go anywhere without her certainly is!! We make sure that she has 4-5 warm snuggy places in the house ... she sometimes [on very cold days] wears little T-shirts inside. I put a heavy sweater on her for outside and pull it off as soon as we are in because they make tight knots in her fur [learned this the hard way!! ]. We always carry her in her bag, a little sleeping bag, a warm blankie or any other warm thing handy! It's amazing that she lets us know if we don't have her warm enough ... she will either snuggle up to us or scrunch down in her blankie, etc.! I bet little Mia will let you know if she is cold or uncomfortable!!
