| I wouldn't mind if they had done a little line like pictured by Lizzie07, but I can tell you right now what happened. They went to draw a line on your li'l girl and the ink "escaped" the pen under the skin. The rarely happens by professional tattoo artist, but it does happen once and again very rarely. of course as you stated it was lower cost clinic and Im sure the person doing the tattoo wasn't a pro. so i wonder how many other loved pets they're "ruined" by doing this. not that the pets are any less lovable but no one wants a blob of ink on their dog! |

| My friend Ann got a dog when an elderly family member passed away. Ann called their Vet and was told that the dog had only been in twice for Rabies shots. So Ann took took the little poodle (who is about 3 years old) to her Vet. Shortly after leaving the dog they called her and said she had already been spayed. So she was put under for nothing not to mention having her tummy cut open. I think it would be good if dog clubs designed a symbol meaning spayed and got Vets and HS on board. I think a small star, heart, or an S would work and would be fine with most owners. The blob is meaningless.
