| Snow on the roof :) I know we have discussed this before but now I am confused. Cowboy had dark hair that started coming in silver on his head. It grew about and inch or two ,and I expected it to turn gold... but now it is SNOW WHITE. and I mean SNOW white. Not a hint of silver or grey. I was just wondering about it????????

| I don't remember how old Cowboy is, but I would say if you wait and wait and wait that it will turn gold or tan.

| Snow ceeby's little hair has done the same thing. he was a beautiful dark brown and gold when I picked him out. two weeks later, the gold had turned tan. Now he is three months old and the hair on his head has turned whitish gray, the tan on his legs has the same color mixed in and I think some of his hair on his little puny rump is turning down nect to the skin. the picture of him in my "Ceeby's new sweater" thread looks like he is bald headed and his ears are too big and bald. Actually the bladness on his head is that white hair shgining in the sunlight and his ear hairs are totally golden on the inside and growing fast. I just wonder if this is the color he is going to be. My breeder marked blue and gold on his puppy paper but I think she got mixed up. She did have another litter at the same time and they were the bluish black color and had no gold on them at all the day I picked Ceeby out. I wonder how old they are before the permant color comes in. I hope this white changes. |

| Trixie did that. It looked like her hair was falling out of her head or she was going bald or something. It eventually turned a very light tan...but she had alot of silver(?). |

| I can totally relate. When we picked out Harley we thought he was extra cute bc he had a little silver spot on the top of his head. Which has slowly but surely turned gold/tan and almost his entire body has gone from black to almost a silver. I want to cut his hair so I can see the difference but it's too cold and I'm afraid he'll be too cold!

| Joey, at almost 5 months, is also snow white on the top of his head. His back seems to be coming in a very light silver. It will be interesting to see how they all end up! |
