I was hoping to hear that Maddie was doing better today. Keeping my fingers crossed that this latest setback will pass quickly and be nothing but a distant memory for you.

I'm praying for Maddie and hoping that you can find a vet that will give her the medication and attention she needs so you both can move on from this _ please keep us posted

I was in shock! That poor little baby. I pray that Maddie will feel better soon!

Poor Maddie....it is so hard when things don't go right. Infections can be strange. I think you are right and it is in reaction to the stitches. Either way, an antibiotic is the way to go. Hope it clears up soon. She is lucky you are so on top of it!

Poor little Maddie. I have been keeping up and this just breaks my heart for her. Finally a wonderful forever home and then all this happens to her! God love you for being such a wonderful Mom to her. Just want you to know that I am keeping her in my prayers. Toto sends her sweet puppy kisses!

maddie is on a 1/2 dose now, vet said they just dont know what other med to try that shes n0t allergic to, they gave her some pred. and she got that last night--but want to see how she will do this a.m. on 1/2 dose of the ceph. instead of a whole 250. im also now soaking a washcloth in warm water with epsom salts and applying that 2 times a day.

Again Thankyou SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much for being there for us! (HUUUUUUUUGGGSS)

I know it's tough, but I'm so grateful that she has you for a mommie. I'm really hoping that you are almost at the end of all of this - you and Maddie!
