| Can we take our Yorkie to NYC? Hi! We would like to take a trip to NYC and take our yorkie with us. Can we take our yorkie to various attractions? What attractions would not allow a small dog? Please let me know if you have ever taken your yorkie out and about NYC. I look forward to hearing your experiences and ideas that we could do with our dog. Thank you! Roxie |

| There are a few people on here that live in the city. I'm curious what they have to say since I like to visit there often too. bump

| I live in NYC and take Keoki many places- it is a very dog friendly city. I would recommend a carrying bag though because there is a lot of walking in NYC and that could tire you're baby out- it can also get very hot and sidewalks get hot. I don't know if you would want to take your baby to the Statue of Liberty ( I don't even think dogs are allowed there)- there are ALOT of people in NYC so it can be a bit overwhelming for a pup that is not used to it and even to a pup that is You can take your furbaby mostly any place except restaurants - if you need any other advice by all means message me I would love to help You will have a great time!!!!! |

| NYC has lots of restaurants with outdoor seating. That would allow you to bring your baby with you.

| I would ask Elissa aka ArmaniMan here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/member.php?u=22960 She lives in NYC with her dogs so she should defiantly know! I'll shoot her a PM or something to let her know you would like to know about taking your yorkie to NYC. |

I figure CP is pet friendly but I am wondering about the other attractions. Hotels?? Do they charge extra for pets? Can you leave the furbabies in the room while you are not there? I am worried someone will step on the dog. It always looks so crowded. I guess that is why you suggest a dog bag. any help you can give me would be much appreciated. thanks.
