| Update on Miles the Westie We just got back from Colorado State University with Miles. They pumped him with fluids, did blood tests and scoped him in about every orifice he has. Turns out he has had an inflamed digestive system for years, and the stay at the kennel stressed him out and made things much worse. After three days we took him home with a new diet and some medications he may have to be on for life, but he's doing great. He was also examined by a board certified neurologist, and he does not have a brain tumor (thanks for telling us that, doc). Anyway, he's back to his old self, and thanks to the docs and students at CSU it looks like he's going to live a long and happy life. |
