It is very sad. I lived across from this family years and watched Jamie grow up. Knowing Jamie, it's very likely that her mother expected the pup wouldn't be taken care of as promised and that's why she did/threatened what she did. I'm not defending the mother by any means - to me, a pet is a lifetime commitment and I strongly disagree with her getting this puppy knowing her daughter wasn't ready for the responsibility.

OMG.. she is absolutely precious... She is lucky to have you to have taken her in... Good thing your friend called you.. can you imagine an 18 year old tryna take care of such a fragile puppy???

I didnt see if you named her but miracle, angel or precious all seem to come to mind!

OMGoodness...she's the cutest widdle thing! Congrats Bonny, I know you'll be a super great mommy to her...she looks just like Momo when he was a widdle baby. He was only 14oz when I 1st got him, but he's almost 6#'s now lol. He's still very tiny to me. He sends you kisses! xx

OMG......she's GORGEOUS!! Congrats! Sounds like she is a Happy little baby girl, right at home with you. You are an angel for taking her. I wouldn't have been able to resist that face.

Thank you, Jenny! And you know how I feel about Mr. Momo. He's so stinkin' cute I could just nibble on him all day.

I know what you mean about 6#'s being tiny. Murphy weighs about 5 1/2 pounds and he's perfect. Little Tate weighs about 4 1/4 pounds and he's so little, I'm always worried he'll hurt himself. I've never wanted one of these teeny babies because I knew I'd worry all the time, but I'm not sorry this little girl is with me now. She is truly precious.

She and I decided on a name at lunch I *think*. Her name is Pippin Thumbelina.

I think I'm a sucker for that little face, too.

Have I mentioned that she's a GREAT kisser? She loves to smooch with me.

I've already been feeling a bit overwhelmed - it's nice to know you're there if we need you!
