It seems like that old man is scared of how his wife will react to missing dogs when she comes back. I'm just glad that he is at least humane enough to surrender them to you. I pray god that he'll get inspired by your good deeds and surrender more babies. Hat's off to you all the way!!!:clapsmile |
I just want to say, God bless you! I have read these post with anticipation. As I read each one of yours looking for more word that you have gotten more from this horrible situation. Please continue to keep us updated. |

me to... I am sitting by the phone just praying for the call to come in that I can go get all or some more babies. |
Just a update on these 3 little sweet angels. Well Bo and I picked up 3 of the sweetest babies this evening. Pogo she is a sweet beautiful yorkie, Corkey, a Yorkie and Abba a little Maltese. Bo was so helpful, inhelping us wash and she groomed all three and did a great job. They all three look like little movie stars. Then it was time to come to there new home while waiting for there fur ever home. Well I was not sure how they would react to all 6 of mine they went outside in the back yard and back in to check it all out. Thank goodness for belly bands Corkey made his presence known. Abba and Pogo checked it all out, and now they are laying in the bed ( on top of me) So all 9 are ready for bed. I am going to have to see if I can get a vet to check them out for a lesser fee because all of them have very few teeth. Corkey has either a ulcer on his eye or he is blind in that eye.Oh no.They need to be fixed yet and Bonnie said they said they are up to date on shots.I Treated them with capstar and the frontline. They are doing very good and now they are safe while waiting on there new families. Now I am going to have to do some moving around of some pups on this bed because Sadie can not figure out why someone else is in her spot. And Romie has not rested because Corkey is laying in his place next to his Daddy and thats not going to work. Leave me a message if you are interested in any of the babies. I ill be taking pictures tomorrow and will have Bo post them I am clueless. thanks again Brenda |
That is so sweet of you! A bed with 9 pupsters, that must be heaven. :) |

Thank you so much for being willing to help all these poor babies. I'm praying you'll get THE call to come get all the rest today. |
Just a short update (well, sort of) lol: Just got off the phone with Brenda. She said everything went well last night when she brought Pogo, Abba and Corky home to meet her gang, lol She also said that they are exploring their new surroundings. She is going to try and get pictures to me so I can post them. The babies are shaved down for fresh start. :) We didn't get finished up until about 10:30 last night so by the time it was Pogo's turn, it was kinda a quick clipping. I got kinda upset too as her poor ear was so ragged, as in bitten-there was a chunk was out of it. :( She climbed up in my lap in the van when Brenda was driving me home and didn't want to get down when we got to my house. lol :( All 3 babies started to run around and meet and greet the cats at the rescue where they very generously let us bath and groom them! Yay!:thumbup: Patti was right there with us til 10:30ish. Abba is the little maltese girl. She got carsick from Bonnie's to us and so she was not a very happy passenger. When we left the rescue to go home, she got a little apprehensive again but calmed down a whole lot more than when we first got her. She is just a sweet thing. :) Corky is 3 lbs of spunk. He was just about everywhere. lol he's not going to have any issues fitting right into his new forever home, whereever that may be. :) Pogo was a bit shy and afraid at first but settled down and was probably the most accepting of all of them. What I mean is, she kinda held back and once she took everything and body in, she just opened right up to accepting the attention and lovins. You can tell that they were cared for at one time or another. They are just neglected at this point. They all stood very still when I was grooming them. Shoot, they did a whole lot better than my 2! lol anyhow, let's hope and pray that Bonnie will be able to get the rest of them out of this place. If so, please let one of us know because we will definitely need some volunteers and lots of loving arms!!! Thanks! |
I pray that the man will give you the rest of them. Keep us posted.... |
You guys are doing a wonderful job. It really makes me sick to think that there are 25 more tiny babies in a shed  I know you are doing your best to get them all out, which is really critical, bc it is hot and bc it sounds like they need to get Vet Care ASAP. Gosh, dental, ears and eyes are only the visible, god only knows what else :( Rescue Me is in MD, perhaps you should contact them, maybe they can assist in the Negotations to get them ALL released....Bc they really ALL need to get out of that hell they are in, so sad :( :( :( Rescue Me Yorkie Rescue They probably have dealt with people like this before and might be able to get the 'worst' ones out asap and into immediate Vet care :( |
That's really amazing what you all are doing for these pups, absolute Angels :) |
I am in Maryland also and would be willing to help if needed. Please contact me with anything I can do to assist you with these precious babies! |
I'm just seeing this thread for the first time today. I'm shocked & disgusted with the living conditions that these precious creatures have lived in. At least the man has a small conscious and knows it is wrong! I commend and praise you for the rescue work you are doing. Thank you and God Bless you ALL involved for your big hearts! |

I hope we(YT members) can make YT awards (example; angel award) and rewards members like Nikis2 & Mom to hot rod who do such good will. We can put some funds together and supply them with whatever they need with thsese little babies. Just an idea...:p |
Hi all well I have recieve another call and he has released 5 more. There are still about 5 or 6 more in the shed and he has 4 in the house he will not budge on getting rid of. But, if they are in his house and he is taking care of them what can I do. The main thing is to get the remaining dogs out of the shed tomorrow. I also have a stragler. Someone heard I was coming down there rescueing dog so they dropped their Heintz 57. Medium sized skin and bones. I have 2 people in the area that are willing to take one so i will let you know when I get back home what I have anfd the condition. I am off to go buy some Capstar for their fleas and to pick them up now. |

Be sure to keep them separated from your own pets until they can be checked for diseases...hate to hear anyones pets got sick..worms, parasites, heartworm, mange..etc. Whispersmom has a bad experince doing this and brought home sarcpotic mange to her gang... If someone who like to make a donation who would I contact? |
