Fur issues While recovering from an injury, my little guy had to be kept in his crate for the majority of the day/night. he has many, I mean MANY matted spots in his fur, especially lower on his legs and belly. I was trying to brush him every other day, but it really stressed him out and with the injury it was harder... so here is the question. is there a non-painful way to brush those problem areas out, or do we head to the groomer for a "short cut" and start over with the brushing after his fur is cut?

Hannah got really bad matted up, she wouldnt let me brush it out of her, so I just took her to the groomers and they had to shave her. She looks like a rat, I feel so bad!

If the mats are bad, spare your little guy the pain and start over.
