Chance is a marker, so he wears a belly band. Madison will either come to me and sit and stare at me til I let her out, or she will go sit by the door:) |
soooooooo cute!!!! Quote:

Levi either gets in my face and licks, licks, licks frantically until I take him out, or he sits by the door and stares at me until I take him out. He's pretty insistent on when he needs/wants to go outside! |
Rocco sometimes comes to get me and does the "follow me" head jerk (think Lassie coming to warn Timmy of a kitten tied to a train track). And sometimes, he just sits at the door, looks at me, then the door, then me, then the door... |
Jackson just barks at the door, lol. |

Harley never has to ask... awe they joys of an indoor potty! ok he has this cute little wimper when he was in his crate... but that's it. He now has full access of his room day and night. Now his "momma I made a mess" sound... oh boy, it sounds like he's dying... when he'd have an acident in his crate, you would have thought I was killing him! it was like a "ourourooohrour" |
mine just go to the door..nice and simple..:) |
Teegy whines a few times and if I don't shift he does a squeaky bark. Although the other morning he brought me a little poop, yeuch, but generally the former |
Dante (who's only 4 months old) does go to the door... and if I notice within 2.5 seconds, and ask "want to go potty?", and let him out, whoopee!, he goes outside! And if I don't, he either squats and pees where he is... or runs away and finds one of his appropriate poop spots = any rug on dog bed on the floor. Go figure. So one of the things we need to work on is asking. I know some use bells. We have doggy doors both from the inside and from the screened porch - so far, he hasn't gone thru on his own, though he knows what they're for and watches the big dogs go thru. I'd prefer him sitting at the door and barking if he needs help... and maybe in the next few months we'll get there. |
