We have flyers up on telephone poles all around the neighborhood, at several restaurants, the bank, gas stations, grocery store, I've called the shelters and vets in our area and 2 small towns that are 10 and 17 miles from here, I've called animal control and I have an ad on the local radio station. We've asked people on the street if they recognize him when we're out but no luck...not sure what else we can do besides wait for a call.

It looks like you are doing all that you can to find his owners. Hopefully they didn't put him out on the streets while they're on vacation in hopes that he'll take care of himself!

Maybe they are out of town and someone was to watch him and he escaped. Of course you would think they would look for him but you know how some people are...... I hope he finds his way home soon. Thank you for helping him out.

Oh, I just keep checking into this thread, to see if you have found the owner. Hopefully, something will happen soon. But, so glad you are taking such good care of the little one.

I hope this is not the case but do you suppose something bad could have happened to the owner and the little guy got loose? Or, maybe the owner dropped him by your house knowing that you would be able to care for him? I just have to wonder why nobody has been looking for him. Poor sweet baby but at least he's in the best possible home while he waits.

I cannot believe that you have not found the owners yet.

You are going a great job and sounds like all the tips from the linked site have helped you too.

So have you thought about his owners never being found and what you are doing to do then.
