Oh Keeping Oliver in our prayers!!! (((((((Oliver))))))) Hang in there, we are here for you! |
Any news on little Oliver? |
Ok guys, taking Ollie to the vet for more blood work now. Keep your fingers crossed, I'm hoping he doesn't test positive for shunt warning signs. I'll post an update when we get back. |

seizure your pup was having a seziure.....trust me i have been through that. you will need to give him some nutri gel (if you have any) and take him to the vet right away! he has low blood sugar! |
i had a yorkie that had seizures with the same symptoms described here . he would always vomit up a little bile and would fall over with his attacks . he seemed wobbly after his episodes. the vet treated him with phenobarb and it helped a lot |
My yorkie did that too. I took her to her vet and the vet said it was an allergy to her vaccination.(She has vaccination 2 days before) She was wheezing alot. She threw up yellow stuff for a couple of days. Then she just started wheezing for 2 weeks then she stopped. Hopes she feels better. :( |
Update #3 Hey again, Well, his bile acid levels came back just the slightest bit elevated. The vet doesn\'t think they\'re high enough to be symptomatic of a shunt. So...she said to just monitor him for the rest of the week and see how he feels/acts. I guess its a relief that he doesn\'t seem to have a shunt, but I wish there had been some definitive reason for having the seizure. I\'m exhausted tonight...*sigh* Thanks again everybody, I\'d probably be a basket case if it weren\'t for all of you. |
Still praying for ya both still praying for ya both.....Everthing is gonna be ok...keep us posted and hope the both of ya rest good tonite |
Keep us posted on Ollie! I think we all appreciate the good way you\'ve kept us updated. |
