| Diarrhea problems Just want to introduce my Mocha to this forum. He is 8 months old today and has the best temperament. He doesn't bark back to other dogs and doesn't try to bite the hand of kids he met at the park who pulls on his coat. He is just the sweetest thing. The only problem I have with him is for eating snails and bugs in the yard. Whenever he does that he gets diarrhea. Anyone know what should I feed him to help diarrhea? Someone told me Pepto Bismo but I'm not sure if that is good for dogs. I was also told to try Flagyl. Anyone has experience with Flagyl? P.S. The head shot was taken when he was 4 months old. The other one a couple of days ago. Last edited by MochaBoyMom; 07-08-2010 at 07:59 AM. |

| I wouldnt give pepto bismal or flagyl without the vets consent and dosage. You can give some canned pumpkin a teaspoon twice a day

| Thanks! I'll try that. Anyone know how to train your puppy not to eat everything and anything in the yard? I already take him out on his harness instead of letting him roam on his own. But even that he manage to get things in his mouth and swallow before I can get it out. I tried the bitter spray from the pet store on my furniture and somehow he doesn't mind the taste at all. |
