| Can't find any other threads..question.. Ok. Gizmo our 8 month old got neutered 2 weeks ago. Ever since, he has been really skittish, won't let us pet him unless he is sleepy, and really bitey. I thnk it is his age (teenager in doggie terms) I have read a little about it elsewhere, but really wondered if anyone else dealt or deals with this, neutering aside or with. Thanks!! |

| I'm sorry i've never heard of this. Have you called your vet? Maybe he is hurting, hope things improve soon. |

| That's what I was thinking. Kaji was a cuddle bug before, and after his neuter. He did turn into a crazed man when his anesthesia and pain meds wore off. I was terrified of the howling, crazily animated dog the vet had given me. But that was the day after the neuter, not 2 weeks. Have him checked for your own piece of mind.

| No he is all healed up and acts fine otherwise. He acts like we are gonna hurt home when we come from above him and he backs away. The biting is like when he wants to play, its just gotten worse since. He is not hurting anyone, just the skittishness bothers me'. I want to feel like he trusts us,but I don't think he does Last edited by Nanee5; 07-06-2010 at 08:26 PM. |
