Oh yay! that is great! I am glad that this is working out! Well if the parents want this little guy I have a paypal account and would be more than willing to collect donations for eensor and help set up tranport...

I'm in southern Ohio so I can help drive along the way. I am only about 4 or 5 hours from Va. Just let me know. It sounds like we have enough people to drive if you want or enough people to ship if you want.

Hi Everyone!

I am trying to get in touch with Chris as we speak to let him know about handsome Tater Jack!!!! Elizabeth and Andy are the NICEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! Chris has no idea how much effort and kindness people have put into making his little boy smile! He is still at the hospital with his son right now, so we (co-worker and I) are trying to get in touch with him!!!! His son is doing 'okay' - he has some issues from the major surgery to put metal rods in along his spine to try and straighten his back. We are all praying for him and his family. I will keep everyone updated on the situation.

Thank you all for your kindness and support. True Yorkie loves know the postive ora they can bring to a family. They have this amazing character and personalities that just light up a room. Bless all of your hearts for helping.

Also, I can drive to anywhere to pick up Tater - or meet someone along the way. I wouldn't want him in cargo or anywhere he might be scared.

FYI!!!!! Tater Jack is official!!! I just got off the phone with Chris (Kellen's dad that I work with), and he is SO SO SO EXCITED about Tater Jack. I sent them a photo, and his wife showed it to Kellen earlier today. He said Kellen was so in love and just thought Tater was the cutest dog in the world. His words, "Oh mom, he is so cute, and he's wearing a tiny little red sweater." So we have the official GO! that we were hoping for (meaning no complications with the surgery so they will be able to get ready for Tater!). I spoke with Elizabeth yesterday, and we were thinking of trying to get the railroad for next weekend (thinking this weekend would be a little soon???). So here we go YT!!!! I'm so excited that we have been able to work this out and Kellen is going to be the happiest little boy in the world when he receives his new puppy. They don't even want to change the name... they love Tater Jack just the way he is!!!!!!

That was Peanut in the red sweater, but I don't think that matters too much! Tater Jack is a cutie too! I can take him to Indy next Wednesday if someone can meet me there and take him farther east.
