| Laddy is Missing :( I have not been on in a while lots of things going on but tonight I need your prayers for our little man Laddy. I am so devastated right now. We had the family over tonight for barbecue and fireworks. When the fireworks started I put Laddy and Lolita in the house as I was concerned that they would be frightened. Well as it happens one of the kids must of went in and when they did Laddy slipped out and he has gone missing We have searched the fields around the house for over 4 hours to no avail I am at my wits end thinking of him all alone in the dark. The only option I have as it is now 2 am is to ask you all to please, please help me pray he will come home soon. If he isnt here in the morning we will be out knocking on doors looking and searching the fields more. I have cried and yelled till I am horse as have the rest of the family. I have to work tomorrow and just dont know how I will ever be able to concentrate with my little man not safe at home. Thank you all in advance for your prayers.

| Thank you so much I know I should sleep but I just dont see how I will be able to all I can do is sit here and cry. I know you all know how special these little ones are. He has been my comfort through the loss of my father and so many other things. I just cannot believe he isn't snuggled up beside me.

| You probably have done this, but if not have you checked Every possible place in the house ? In all closets and cabinets, under beds , night tables, dressers , sofas. In any pile of blankets or clothes , under recliners. Also behind all things I mentioned. When they are scared of loud noises they often will not come out till they feel safe again, not even for mommy. Oh and check the tubs & showers too. Last edited by lillymae; 07-04-2010 at 12:00 AM. |

| keep looking you were very wise to get them into the house as fireworks are so frightening. One of my yorkies went bananas the mornng of the first of January when I let her out. The noises from the night before were still haunting her. I'm sure he's not far and will come out when he feels safe and his fear has worn off. Keep us posted.. |

| I really hope that he comes home soon. I know how you're feeling as years ago an ex fiance took my special dog out into the country for a walk and lost him. I was out all night shouting until I could hardly speak. I walked for miles and miles (around 30 to be precise) and was in bits over it. All I could think about was that he was alone in the dark with all the strange noises and weird animals (not that they're that dangerous over here!) and that he must be terrified and wanting me. Amazingly, just after I got home again at about 7 am the next day, my father went out in his car. He was driving along the road right where Billy had gone missing and Billy came trotting out of a side lane as calm as you like! My dad said that he just burst into tears when he saw Billy. We took him to the vet for a check up and she said that he was a bit sore so she reckoned he'd been grazed by a car and just curled up under a bush in shock - and that's why he didn't hear me even though I was shouting for him in that area for so long. With fireworks going off, he's bound to be really nervous and on edge. He's probably just too frightened to move to come to you. And someone has suggested looking into every single possible place that he could be in your home. If he's frightened it is still possible that he's in the house or even under a hedge in your yard. Fingers are crossed that you get him back really soon.

| I am praying for Laddy's safe return home. Have you found him yet? I would be beside myself with fear and worry and I'm sure you are too.
