| Tarter build up My yorkie is almost 9 months old. She has horrible breath, and she started getting tarter build up on her teeth. I've started brushing her teeth, switched over to hard treats, and tried giving her several different kinds of bones that are supposed to help. So far nothing has helped. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips to help?? |

| The best would be to go to your vet to have her teeth cleaned and then start brushing them . If you don't do anything she can have trouble with her gums and start to loose her teeth . |

| Hi, Welcome to YT!!!! I would take her in to have her teeth cleaned. Then make sure you brush them everyday. They don't like having their teeth brushed, but that's one thing that really needs to be done. Good luck!

| I would definately take her to your vet to have her teeth cleaned (too get every last bit off for a good start) and then make sure to brush them daily. Harley's a punk about this but it's really the only time of the whole day that he doesn't get his way! If only our little furbabies could understand it's good for them! lol Welcome to YT btw!
