New puppy sooner than I'd counted on I had been looking at all the pictures of all your sweet babies and just started looking at available dogs in the area. I ran across an ad of somebody who was having to find another home for their yorkie male. He was so gorgeous I had to go meet him yesterday after work, since it was so close to the office. Of course, he went home with me last night and loved the car ride. lol. I'm not fond of his name so it's going to be changed, but he's 7 months old on July 2 and he's a real charmer. His previous owners have to work too many hours and didn't have time for him. Next stop is the vets for shots tomorrow, and neuter appt. I'm almost 100% he was a puppy mill dog sold to a pet store in Pearland. The worst part was the little girl who was so attached to him. I felt like I stole her little friend. Sandy

Congratulations on your new baby. We got Cody in a similar way. We weren't quite ready for a puppy yet, but my daughter saw a tweet about a puppy that needed a home. He was 3 months old and the family that owned him couldn't keep him so they placed an ad in a community newspaper. They had three kids and they all cried. But we have given him a good home and we adore him. I, too, changed his name as he really didn't know it. Good luck and enjoy your baby.

Yes. I also told them I would send pics in email. He's settled in just fine and thinks he owns the house. He gets tired and he comes up to me on the couch, lays across my chest and just watches tv or looks around the room for the next thing to get into. If I'm not where he can lay on me, he will just jump onto the back cushion of the couch and pass out, hanging down like he's drunk. I really love this dog! He's too much!

Well, I'm really not fond of the name, "Hank" and he doesn't seem to know that name or respond to it. I'll figure out soon what to name him, right now I just pat the couch next to me and refer to him as 'come on baby'. I just don't care for the name "baby" either.
