I went to her page and unfortunately there is already things on it that are stated as if they are fact, when in fact, it is only her (or her clubs) opinion. This is not the way to get Biewer people to UNITE. Until, and unless, there is an honest attempt to really open up and discuss our difference, accept them and understand each other.. having one club or one person out of the picture isn't going to solve the problems facing the Biewers.. I do however like the fact that the page owner has put the "yorkshire terrier" back into the name where it belongs. (my opinion of course) I totally agree, it would be wonderful for the Biewer people to unite finally.. but having a biased start isn't how it's going to happen. Diana :animal-pa |
I've seen that on other forums here recently....can't recall the screen name, but it's said for the last week "no longer a member". This person made 1 post and it had banned underneath the user name. I've wanted to ask this for a few days but thought maybe I'd missed something in the rules. :) |

Biewer Yorkshire Terrier Forum This is just my opinion and nothing more. I looked at the forum that "Gail K" referred to and it is clearly for Biewer Yorkshire Terrier Ala Pom Pons fanciers. It does not appear to be associated with the Biewer Terrier group led by Gayle Pruett or any of her associates. It just seems to me that this forum is for those people who believe that the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier standard is the authentic and correct standard and do not believe that the standard set by Gayle Pruett is the true standard. I don't have a vested interest either way but I do think it is a great thing that this forum exist. After all, I'm sure that Ms. Pruett has her own forum and I somehow doubt that hers is unbiased based on what I now know about her (is she really a vet?). I also believe that the YorkieTalk folks would appreciate that the whole discussion regarding the Biewer Yorkshire Terriers vs. Biewer Terriers vs. Parti colored Yorkiets, etc. be discussed in an independent forum. I have Yorkshire Terriers, so as previously stated, I don't have a vested interest but I would appreciate a forum for the Biewer Yorkshire Terrer if I owned one! |

It's not the forum that I was speaking about that had biased information but the Facebook page.. the forum is a very recent forum that was just started and your right, it was not started by Ms Pruett but it looks like it was created by a member of another club .. There are already at least two other biewer forums for people who are interested in talking about their biewers so there is no lack of places for us to yack about our pups .. I disagree however, that YT people would like the discussion of Biewers, Parti's etc moved to another venue.. after all.. we're all yorkies and this is a yorkie forum.. if one isn't interested in learning or contributing, one doesn't have to read, post or contribute to threads discussing "yorkies of a diffrent color". Most of us started our fascination with the Biewers and/or the Parti's because of our love of the traditionally colored yorkies and I believe there are many others who have come to love these wonderful little souls DIRECTLY due to the exposure they get here on YT.. so, my hope is.. ALL yorkies will continue to be discussed on YT, as well on any other forums that pop up.. the more the merrier..It's just when ones opinion is stated as fact, it doesn't get things started on the right foot. Iabca Clearly the IABCA should sue but I believe it would take a group of owners, fanciers, breeders, etc. to push for it. I, for one, will be emailing them to ask what their intent is to remedy this situation and to build more trust in the Biewer YT community. |

These 2 women have attempted to disasterize the breed from the beginning. Many have suffered their evil first hand and the breed itself suffers. I would think it would affect people that purchased their pups or members of their clubs' pups, people that show in the IABCA, people that purchased their pedigrees believing they were authentic from IABCA and future owners of the pups thinking they are getting authentic show titles. Committing fraud and taking in the money for real titles is just such an injustice to the breed in their entirety. My question is if they can't get a title honestly and defraud the public this way, what else are they falsifying? They also run a registry ya know. _________________ Wanda, Noah, Quendy, Nika, Annie, Bellchen, AnnaBelle, Cameo, Cookie and Fonzie. Proud member of BAPPC I have permission from Wanda to crosspost her remarks. She has made some very valid points on the seriousness of what has happened. The repercussions are snowballing and effect everyone owning any breed of dog not just a Biewer. This has already started creating distrust among new people interested in purchasing a new puppy. This should not be discounted as a simple mistake. This was a deliberate act to deceive the people and collect the money. |

And MsTKB, I hope you have contacted IABCA because right this minute they are open to any and all information and ideas about what to do about this one woman one club who is so experienced at manipulating the truth she thinks she went to vetinary school and somehow has the right to call herself a vet. Someone else might call that a hallucination with the proper credentials. |
Oh and the almighty Carl Yocum sings Gayle praises, the last paragraph , he says the Biewer terrier is a cousin to the parti and how Gayle is conducting the Mars testing. What a joke now that we know she is a liar, faked being a DVM and Im pretty sure there wasn't 100 biewers blood samples sent in for the mars Biewer Terrier Markers as she professes. She sent in over and over one of her mixed breeds to get a mixed breed reading in mars so she could get them in AKC. IMHO The Biewer is nothing more than a parti colored Yorkshire Terrier. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...ticle_Carl.jpg |

In any sort of research, you have to have undeniably clean, accurate, data going in .. this was never the case with any of the "so called" research done by the MARS company on behalf of the BTCA in regards to the Biewer Terrier breed.. there was always a question on the authenticity of the samples being sent in, the data collected and the reading and findings disseminated. The latest escapades of this club and it's officers, just confirms that those who may have had suspicions of prior wrong doings. were most likely not to far off track. Hopefully, this will finally put to rest the name of BIEWER TERRIER... the entire idea that the Biewer YORKSHIRE Terrier is a mixed breed and is anything but a full, purebred Yorkshire Terrier. This whole episode was nothing more than a fabrication brought about by a very VERY sly "entity" who was driven to get to the top... it has done nothing but cause divisiveness among people and almost total devistation to a beautiful group of dogs. It not only darkened the name of the Biewer Yorkie here in this country, but it reached all the way to the founding country of Germany.. amazing the power that a small group of people can wheeled. Such an incredibly sad tale for such a delightfully happy dog. Diana :animal-pa |
