I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | You can't watch that video without crying. It breaks my heart so many adorable wonderful dogs are being killed because of all the greeders out there who will sell to whoever has the money. Breeders who don't try to find suitable life long homes for their puppies, and who sell with breeding rights really need to get a wake up call. I hope everyone will think of this video next time they decide they want a pet. Rescues and shelters are filled with pets, and if that's all you want save a life. If you want to support good breeders find a really great breeder, and put your name on a waiting list! We can stop backyard breeders, by stop buying from them.

| That is so sad! The poor pup is so sad and confused. Makes me want to be a foster mom even more.

YT 1000 Club Member | I think I am going to talk to my vet and see if we can get a group going to mimic the reserves who do the one weekend a month. Maybe get a group together and each person donates one weekend a month to help out at the local shelters with whatever they need. As soon as she gets back from NY.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I've been mia for a while due to some really life changing personal issues and saw that this morning.....what a tearjerker and in a perfect world people would STOP the massive random breeding and start to THINK about all these poor dogs ending up in shelters....being put to sleep, neglected, abused ...the puppy mills that need to be shut DOWN - the pet stores that support them -man - I can't even post all the things that people put these loving animals thru - the list goes on and on The dog they focused on showed how truly awful life is for them when they're considered disposable. Just seeing him tied up sitting in the rain all confused hit me right in the heart. It really sucks and I don't see it getting better until laws pass - people OPEN their eyes and start to realize these little guys have huge feelings and they KNOW what's going on.....The sadness in the eyes of all the dogs in that video said it all. It's just so damn depressing

| Heartbreaking. I'm going to post this to my FB. Most of us here are well aware of the consequences, and I for one would like to see others learn it as well. Thank you for posting this video; I never would have seen it otherwise.

| WOW this is soo unbelievably sad I'm tearing up here in my office watching that! Just as the person above me said, I'm posting this on my FB page and sending it around in emails....people need be aware of the things that go on and if people stop buying from these places eventually they won't be able to stay in business!! |

| What a perfect song... It is upsetting seeing how many people do not spay/neuter their pets. If this problem were solved, there would be a lot fewer animals in shelters

YT 1000 Club Member | It's not just people not spaying/ neutering it is also the people that get a puppy because it's so cute, then it grows up and has lost it's cuteness, the person hasn't tried training the dog the right way and gets rid of it because it won't listen, supposed allergies crop up, moving and don't want to take the time to find a good home for it, new person in their life doesn't like the dog, etc there are many reasons why they end up in the shelters. Although people not getting their pets fixed is a major problem.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I truly believe all these poor dogs know what's going to happen to them - there's no way they can't with all the euthansia happenening on a daily basis.... just watching that little guy (who did find a home I was happy to see) trying to walk down the hall on his belly just re-inforced what I believe. THEY KNOW and feel all the feelings I think a human would feel if left in what I consider jail with a death sentence in so many of these shelters. It's such a bad bad long time problem - I see no end in site but am glad the word is getting out there more. I do see more and more people adopting rather than buying but then - I see FAR TOO MANY Still breeding which is just adding to the overpopulation of dogs (and cats). edited to add - not that I am getting any more pets at this time I will never consider a 'buy' - I'd def go to the shelter. I got all my cats from shelters growing up....
