| Hi! New member! :) Hi all! I am new here! I have a 3 year old yorkie named Amy and a 4 month old yorkie named Cammy. We just got Cammy last week. We rescued Amy 2 and a half years ago from some people who kept her locked in a garage all the time. Cammy is a Father's Day gift to my husband. Amy is more of a "momma's girl" lol. Amy is adjusting to the new baby. She tends to be jealous when anyone takes my attention away from her but she's getting better as each day passes and yesterday she even played with Cammy. Cammy is more aggressive than Amy. Although she does run to momma when noises or things she doesn't understand scare her. She is trying to establish dominance over Amy right now and Amy isn't exactly sure what's going on. We also have a 9 year old cat. The cat doesn't like Cammy at all, although the cat and Amy get along fine - and always have. We are working on potty training right now with Cammy. She definitely has a mind of her own. Amy potty trained so easily so this is new territory for me. Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself! |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I am sure after an adjustment period both your girls will be best buddies. I can't wait to see pics.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Cammy is still a baby and that puppy energy can be overwhelming to an older dog. I'm sure Amy will warm up to her as Cammy starts settling down.

| New Member Hi, I'm also new and didn't know how to post till just a bit ago. I joined last night but there was a lot going on so I just read and kept quiet. I am currently trying to find a yorkie to adopt (doesn't matter to me if it's a puppy) and my head is swimming. I'm in Houston, Texas. I've been reading up on all the different info on AKC, CKC, and APRI and it's just boggled my brain. Sandye~Houston |
