| ![]() Aww I'm so glad your puppy is doing better! She was born the same day as my little furball and the breeder I went to (who seemed legit and very professional as I did the research) still gave me my puppy too young (at only 9 weeks). I wish I had been more knowledgeable about that sort of stuff as my Oliver is already developing horrible biting issues which could have been fixed with more time with his mom. You reeeeally should take him to the vet though, I took mine the morning after I got him and luckily he checked out great but Oliver has really strong teeth right now (lol they hurt when he playfully bites me!) so if your baby is the same age as mine, I feel like her teeth should be more grown in. Anyway I'm still learning like you are and I'm so happy your little "no name" is doing well!! Looking forward to seeing him grow! ![]() |

| ![]() Vet said she is healthy, no issues and he would say that she is about 8-9 weeks old I told him her papers say she is 10 weeks. She is 1 pound 3 ounces. The wobblyness that I described to him he said did not sound like Hyperglycemic. He said besides being loved to death she is in good health. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() As crasy as it sounds I think she is just learning to walk/run. While we were at the vet she started doing the same wobbly stuff again and i had them look at her. She runs and like tumbles over her feet I guess you could call it. She doesnt know what walking is, all she does is run. |

| ![]() Yes she did. I explained to the vet, he said to keep a eye on her and goats milk in her food wouldnt hurt. I am happy she is ok. Now if I could only name her. |

| ![]() What about Bambi? Didn't Bambi have trouble walking at first? LOL I'm just kidding. Glad to hear the vet said she's fine. I did see a yorkie puppy at petsmart once, and she was so happy running around and the floor was so slippery that she couldn't turn a corner to save her life. Maybe you just have slippery floors?

| ![]() Congratulations on your new baby. That was incredibly sweet of your husband to surprise you like that. Your baby is adorable.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() What kind of floors do you have? If she seems more wobbly on linoleum, tile or wood it could be because she needs the hair around her pads trimmed. It's kind of like wearing fluffy socks and sliding across the floor. I trimmed Scarletts whe she slept with a small pair of blunt scissors and a little battery powered eyebrow trimmer. The improved grip has given her more confidence and made her steadier on her feet. Glad to hear the vet thinks it's age and not hypoglycemia that'd causing her wobbiliness. She's still at risk though, so keep an eye out. If you google "yorkie growth charts" you can find some guestimates of how big she'll be. Did you ever hear back from the breeder? BTW, I'm originally from the San Diego area, too. There are lots of great, dog friendly shopping areas there you can take her too when she gets bigger.

| ![]() I notice that you are from San Diego. I am also a resident. It is against the law in California to sell a puppy younger than 8 weeks. I would visit a vet ASAP to get an opinion on the age of your little one. Did you get papers stating the birth date? I would pursue action against this breeder if I were you. Even in small claims court. Get the Nurtacal as one suggested because your tiny girl could die. Good luck Cherie |

| ![]() I should have read all the posts before I sent mine. She won't die - I was so upset at reading your initial post that I jumped in without reading about the vet visit. She is a cutie and I agree regarding the ears. Shave the hair and they will probably pop up. I would still recommend pursuing legal action against the breeder. If for nothing else than refusing to answer the phone and blocking your e-mail. Something to hide? Cherie |

| ![]() I never thought about the floor that she was on. This is my first small dog, and my first long haired dog. I looked so much into the breed but I guess there are just those things that you never learn until you own. ![]() ![]() She is doing good though. I have a 7 year old pitbull that thinks No Name is a new born and licks her and cleans her she is so cute. |
