My Westie does that too; it drives me crazy because then he gets mad at your feet if they accidentally touch him or worse, kick him in the middle of the night. I usually end up dragging him closer to my legs so at least I won't be accidentally kicking him and he won't be attacking my feet!

Max has her own pillow, and starts off there, but she seldom stays longer than 30 minutes and leaves to her own bed via the pillow ladder.

| It's not just Duncan - my Levi does it too I wish he liked to sleep higher up, but he just doesn't. Funny little doggies.

Rio likes to sleep at the foot of our bed, on top of the covers. We've tried to get her to sleep higher up on the bed, but she always goes back down towards our feet. Bullet likes to sleep between our heads, usually snuggled up against my face or my DH's face! I love it, except he also occasionally wants to sleep across my neck, but I can't sleep like that!

Pistol sleeps right in front of my thighs, or sometimes up by my chest. Our mini poodle slept by my feet every night, he was 12 pounds so I never worried about kicking him off.
