You have been on my mind Patti and Pixie so much today, I hope as the day went by Pixie was feeling less and less pain. Praying for a complete, speedy recovery for Pixie. Patti please do try to get your rest. You've had so much on your plate lately, hope your able to rest when Pixie is.

Thanks. She still is having trouble standing at all and just wants to sleep. I just don't want that leg to get to stiff from no use. I am going to take her out and hold her up a little to try and get her to use it. if she isn't more active tomorrow I am going to take her in for a check. I ma be wrong but I thought they wanted them walking a little by day 3?

I love her face, her pics are darling.

I would definitely get her to move her leg, if that's what the vet wanted. The problem w/ not moving it, when it should be moved, is that it can heal improperly and the scar tissue can form oddly. Maybe call the vet or techs and ask if they have any tips/ideas too? Though I'm sure people here will have ideas.

Does she like water? If yes, you could fill the tub and do some water therapy.

I think someone told you that you could use a little scarf to hold her back end up if I remember correctly - would that help to get her walking a little so she does not get too stiff - poor baby I hope this goes really fast for you both and she is running around the house soon
