Petsmart Puppy Kit This weekend while visiting my parents I went to their local Petsmart store. My daughter was visiting a friend while I was visiting my parents and she sent me photos of a few things I wanted to get for "Princess" our yorkie puppy. I was talking to one of the sales associates and they told me about their puppy kit. It is only.... $20.00!!! I was sold on this kit because is included things I had planned to purchase. This kit includes: A bag of premium puppy food up to $30.00. Vet visit and Free microchip. First grooming which includes bath, grooming, nail trim, ears cleaned, etc. 1 hour puppy class. I felt this was a great price for all that it includes. I thought I would share this information here for anyone that has a puppy or is planning to get a puppy. I bought two puppy kits for my two puppies.

The brochure and card for the microchip says it is a Lifetime Registration. No annual renewal fee. I asked the same question before purchasing these puppy kits.

| Please be careful, Banfield has a terrible reputation. Make sure you know exactly what shots you want to give your puppy and do not let them convince you to get anything beyond what you feel comfortable with. Make sure they space the vaccines out and do not give lepto. Also do not let them sell you their version of flea treatment, insist on advantage or frontline.

No worries about our vet at Banfield. She is a great vet. And both of my puppies are both fully vaccinated until next year. I have both of my puppies on Sentinel for heartworm and and recall it is also for fleas. I also have Advantage for them. All I need to do with both puppies is to have them spayed and neutered. And to have one of them microchipped.

I asked if it were a regional thing or not because my parents live 2 hours from us and I needed to make sure these coupons with this kit would be valid in my store. I was assured yes, this puppy kit is in all stores, nation wide. I was so excited to have been told about this kit. I wish our store had told me about it. I seem to recall seeing these at my store but never was told about it or even look at it. I think these kits would be great for breeders to buy to give to new puppy owners for their puppies.

I ran across something about this Puppy Kit online and I was happy when I seen it took me back to YT. Although this post is a year old...has anyone else used this plan? I just talked to a worker at Petsmart and he was telling me about it. Of course it sounds great but I'm a little skeptical.
