| Don't laugh but my hubby thinks I'm crazy! Seriously!!! Tensley is smart. Super smart! So much so he is more human than dog. (Shhhh, don't tell Tensley he's actually a D O G)! LOL! Anyway, I'll talk to him like I would any other human being. Tensley listens attentively. Then he responds. Yeah! He actually responds! While, of course, it's in dog speak, I truly believe if his words could be translated to human you'd hear a comprehensive answer. Today, laying in bed, I asked Tensley if he wanted to play peek a boo. We've NEVER played it before. He immediately buried his head in the covers then slowly peeked his head out. He continued to do this until I did it. He got so excited playing this. But how he knew what this game was has me questioning. He also started barking in his high pitched voice. I looked at him and asked if it was "necessary" for him to be so loud because it was giving me a headache. Immediately he started mumbling in a very soft voice and came to snuggle (like he was saying he was sorry). I swear! I'm not crazy. These little guys are more human than anything. Don't you think???

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Lol, that's such a cute story, I think Joey can understand a lot more than he pretends, I know he knows his name, and the word "come", but he's obstinate and only comes when he's finished doing what he's doing. Sounds like Tensley not only understands you, but wants to please you, now that is special!

| Yep my hubby also thinks i'm crazy! I talk to Mabel like a person too! I do not think it is crazy! What i do think is crazy is yelling at the tv during a football game like they can hear you! And expecting the players to do what you said and then getting mad when they don't...Then yelling at the tv louder! Yes my friends that is CRAZY!!!

HAHA!! Too funny. Well, maybe I am a bit crazy but when I try on clothes I always come out to see my little guy's reaction. Sometimes he buries his head or looks down and away. Sometimes he cocks his head from side to side and looks very excited. I know when he does that whatever I'm trying on has to be a keeper. I actually talk to him a lot, and the other day---I expected an answer! Oh my. He has very good taste too.

| Okay it must just be Brandi.....but she could care less about pleasing me. I have a bonafide diva on my hands and about the only she CHOOSES to understand is mealtime. Everything else is met with a "puleeze" stare . My cat has taught her well. |
