Prayers and Hugs to Patti and Pixie. |
Prayers and hugs to Patti & Pixie....hope that the surgery & recovery go smoothly! :lovewings |
Prayers for a quick recovery for little Pixie. |
I talked with Patti and she got the call from the surgeon saying that Pixie came through her surgery and was beginning to wake up. Whew! Patti was getting so nervous, thinking they should have called earlier. PTL that all is well and they have that hurdle behind them. Patti's very nervous about the recovery period, so anyone with pointers, she'll certainly appreciate them. She is not home right now, thus the reason for my posting for her. She'll be updating with any news. Thanks everyone for your prayers and concerns! |
I have not advise, but hope for a fast recovery!! |
I just came across this thread and I am so glad that Pattie's Pixie made it through surgery. I am sending prayers and hugs her way;) |

Prayers for Pixie, Patti and You! |
Praying for both Patti and Pixie. Is there anything they will need after surgery that any we can provide? I wish there was some way to help. |
To Patti and Pixie lots of love, prayers and get well soon. From Pixie and Betty. :hearts6::hands::getwellso |
Please keep us informed. Prayers for Pixie for speedy recovery and for strength and wisdom for Patti especially during the recovery period. |
Thanks so much everyone!! When the vet called she said Pixie has her groove back! They re grooved her kneecap, she said it was completely gone. They also cut the bone, I can't remember whether she said the crest or the cusp? and moved it over and put in one pin. She then put one stitch on the inside of her leg I think she said to hold the ligament in place. My poor Pixie. I was so relieved to hear she was in recovery, I missed some of what she said. I can't pick her up until tomorrow, her first time ever away from home. I will be starting a post to get tips on how to keep them quiet after. I know the surgeon will give me detailed instructions but it helps to hear from others who have been through it. I almost fainted when I saw the estimate too. Thank God for Care credit. Thanks again and a special thanks to my dear friend Connie for posting and taking all my calls. |
