| Do you think they love each other? I was just wondering??.....A family gets a puppy - then a year later gets another puppy - do you think that they can learn to love each other? Kind of a silly question, but it crossed my mind when I watch Mr. Darcy and Lizzie play together.

| I think it's like having kids. You have one baby child and then another one...That's the fun about having a growing family. Don't worry, am sure they love having the company of each other. |

| Yes, I think they can love each other in a doggie way. Ringo was a tough nut to crack when Lucy first came home. He was 3 years old; spoiled, dominant, alpha . . you name it. But she is a sweet little submissive girl and she won his heart. When she had to spend an entire day at the Vet's office last week . . he moped around all day. No one to run with; play with; look out the window with. For sure, I think they get attached to one another. |

| Oh yes they do. When we added Barley he was a year old but Garrett (2 years old) accepted him right away as a little brother. Then we added Bijou as a baby and again Garrett accepted her, but Barley took a few days to accept her, but they are best buddies now. Today we walked them a little early in the evening and Barley started panting too much so I was carrying him and Bijou kept looking up to make sure he was okay. The look in her eyes was concern for him. Are you considering adding another?

| Hi, I'm new. I have two yorkies. Bijou was my dearest, sweetest boy. At 7 I had to go to work full time and leave him alone. He was so distressed I decided to get a second one just for him. We found a sweet little girl for him. It took him a month to get adjusted to her. They used to play and cuddle together so it was good. but, Bijou's main focus has always been, and remains ME. Babette however, does love Bijou, although now that he's getting older she will watch and wait for an opportunity to steal his food. He eats very slowly and sometimes walks away and then comes back. If I don't watch, she will steal it. I know she really cares for him though because once in the middle of the night she woke me with strange, rhythmic barking. I ran downstairs to see what was wrong. She was frantic. As it turned out, Bijou had wrapped his neck round and round my laptop cord and was pretty much trapped and hung. Babette saved his life!! My two are both very sweet, and very different. I love them both dearly. They are both 3.5 pounds. Bijou is 14, and Babette is 7. He is moving slowly, sleeping a lot, coughing, eating less, and limping, and deaf. He doesn't go up and down steps anymore. He still looks like a puppy though. I think he is still happy, but I don't think I will have him too much longer. I can't bare to loose him. It's nice to have a place to share where people will understand. |

| Yes. Even thought she waits for the chance to scarf up the rest of his food, she loves him and depends on him. I feel certain she will be very lonely when he's gone. I don't really want another right right now since I work so much. But I may have to for her sake in the same way I bought her for Bijou. If I had the time and money, I would have 4. |

| Yes, I definitely think so. I don't think my babies would know what to do without each other. Of course Lexi and Bentley love EVERYONE. LOL
