| Help! Biting! Hi guys, Niko is 1 year old today!! I feel like we have come a long way and am very happy with how good he is! However, there is one little thing that bothers me and everyone else too. He is no longer teething but for some reason whenever he greets someone he knows he tries to bite their face, and only their face! It's not an aggressive bite its just love nibbles, but its annoying and people don't want their faces nibbled on! I always say no and take him away but this doesn't seem to work and hes been doing this since we got him. He doesn't bite the entire time people are visiting, just until his excitement calms down (10-15 min) Help!! |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Oh my goodness. I wouldn't consider that a "little" thing. I received one of those "love bites" right above my eye when I was a toddler and still have the scar. A quarter of an inch to the right and it would have taken out my eyelid. You need to keep him off of people until he is in a calm state. If that means he can't come out to see people until they've been in your house for half an hour, so be it. No being up on the couch or any where near face level. Period. |
