| HI! Wanted to say your baby was adorable... so sorry for your loss.  We lost our collie last year at 12 years old. It's so heartbreaking so I know just how you feel. Your heart will never completely heal but I think it's good to be open to other possibilities too..... |

| It's hard to get dogs *into* England, but I didn't think it was too hard to get them out. I'm sorry you had to leave him behind, and I hope you found a good family for him to learn to love. You seem to have a real affinity for these little ones. I hope you find a new pup to love. No one will ever replace Rocky, but a new pup will make new memories to fill the hole in your heart that you're feeling now. |

| Welcome, this is an awesome community. It's hard to lose your best friend and you won't substitute him but find another best buddy. I have to agree that you should start looking, can't hurt. When the time is right you will come upon the right one for you. Best wishes and good luck. |

| I know you are devastated to leave your sweet boy but their are so many babies needing a good loving home. I know God will send you just the right one. Your baby is adorable but he would want you to have someone to love.

If you can find 'another' little friend it won't replace Rocky-Boy but may be able to help fill that empty void you're feeling right now. And soon he/she will become another best friend of yours. Your mom will feel the same  I think also letting her know that you will not be leaving her to take care of the new puppy will make her feel better, too. I'm so sorry you had to leave him behind, I'm sure you found him a great place to stay. Keep us updated on your path to finding a new best friend
