Seems like I saw another thread in the past few days with the same situation. Scammer calls on a relay call and says they'll send the breeder a check for more than the purchase price, breeder can get the check and cash it, then the scammer will send a courier to pick up the dog and the breeder will pay the courier with the extra cash from the check. Only thing is, the check bounces a week or so later so the breeder is out the money, fees from the bank and their pup is gone.
