| Bella apparently likes playing water and burrs. This weekend we took her to the local park along with the rest of our dogs. We walked them all down to the rivers edge and as usual all of the Chihuahua's sniffed around the edge. Bella walked right in and sat down! Then last night I was in the backyard watering a couple plants and Bella ran at the water stream. I think it is cute and I don't mind the fact that she likes the water, but it is a bit difficult with the long coat. Another thing....along the park walk she ended up with an underbody full of burrs! God was that hard to get out! I told my husband that from now on she has to stay on the walking paths.

| How cute! Muffin used to like the water, too. She'd even drink from the hose when it was really hot. I had a little chi that would run through the holes of water around our young trees. That was a mess! Of course, that was a long time ago, too. Now, when I get the hose out, Kacee goes the other direction! She doesn't like the water very much. I wish she did.

| When it comes to bath time Bella doesn't mind that either. The only thing she hates is water in her eyes and I can understand that.

| I bought a baby pool and mine love it. I throw in a few plastic floating toys and you should see them bobbing and trying to get them out. |

| How great that she loves water! Please be careful of the burrs. I've heard numerous stories of dogs actually requiring surgery because they get caught under the pads of their feet and in between their toes. They are such a nightmare to try and get out of the hair!
