Someone tried to kill my dogs today

I do not understand Police Departments these days. This is a crime against you, someone show have at least came to your home and documented the incident. What if the next time a small child is the one to pick up the poison? This whole thing pi$$es me off and makes me ill.

If I were you, in addition to trying to get animal control and your civic associations attention, I would go to the local papers so they can warn your other neighbors.

How terrible! Man, it sucks the police aren't/can't doing much to help you in this matter. I agree with another poster: What if a child had picked this up instead?! Glad to hear you're getting to the bottom of this.

Have you gotten any additoinal Facebook info from you posting about this incident? I really don't understand the motivation like this for some people. It's sickening

That really stinks! I can see where it's a difficult thing to prove but whoever is doing this is a real sicko and I'd be afraid of what they may do next!

I think you should contact "The Washington Post" and do all you can to get an article on it -- along with the lack of follow-up with the authorities. It certainly can't hurt, and it might help!!!!

Oh my gosh!!! I also saw the news where someone did that to some dogs in Northern Virginia which is not far from where you are. They threw poisoned meatballs in their yard. One of the dogs died so I am so glad your baby is okay.

I would contact WTTG FOX 5 who I think is the one who ran the story. I work freelance for JLA ABC 7 but we didn't run the story(I dont' think).

Maybe FOX 5 can put you in touch with the people who are handling the VA case, then maybe PG will do something about it in your area also!!

I knew I just read/heard something so similar to this!! It's horrendous! I would call the police back to file a complaint. They consider dogs "property" so attempted "murder" of them would have to have some type of legal consequence. I agree with everyone else and you should contact the news. Thank you so much for spreading the word and reminding us how important it is to teach them "drop it." We'll be working on that! I'm so glad your babies are okay!

How awful that some very sick person did this!

It is upsetting just knowing there are people that are that awful to do something like this.

I do hope your local Police department will do something to try to catch the person that did this.

Praying your little ones will be OK.

It is horrible that it is not even safe to allow little dogs outside without the worry that someone could do something like this.

Good that you took your little one to the vet immediately for Emergency care.
