| Get her used to it now while you have the open window... Start with a tooth at a time and give her praise. |

| I've also heard start out using a finger so she will get used to her teeth being rubbed. Good luck. I cann't get Bella to let me brush her teeth. But I got her when she was 16 months old. |

| I just started brushing Tensley's teeth. At first I put some paste on my finger tip and let him lick it. Then I put some on the finger brush and let him lick that. I then stuck the finger brush in his mouth and moved it around so he'd get the feel of it. Then I started brushing his teeth. He wasn't crazy about it but he tolerated me doing it. When I really tried to concentrate on tooth cleaning he got irritated and squirmy. I then switch to a regular dog toothbrush which he really liked alot better. We're taking it slow since he is a persnickety kind of dog.
