Agree I know alot of people here don't agree with mixed breeds aka mutts, hybrids etc. but many of us own them and are they just as equal as a pure bred. I personally did not get my yorkie poo because its a so called "designer dog", I had an option between 5 purebreds and one yorkiepoo which was my Coco. When I decided I was ready to get me my furbaby I was convinced that i would never get a mutt. Well low and behold that is exactly what I got, we fell in love with her right away and I am soooooo thankful that we chose her or should say she chose us cause thats how we made our decision. Its just comes to show us that you never know what you really want. Mimi | |

| OH JEESHHHHHHHHHHHh Why all the fuss. She knows it's a mix and you guys are trying to debate like usual. To answer your question They can look either pom or yorkie. You can usually tell when they are young pretty much which they will take after. I myself have one and she is ADORABLE. She looks like a litle fox. She has the pom characteristics mostly but the yorkie coloring pops through and her hair is a cross betewn full like a pom and silky so it droops a bit , which is from the yorkie. I find her a true delight and not at all barky or mean spirited. She is 4 pounds full grown ,which was a surprise to me because I thought she would get larger.

| Yorkie/Poms (Porky's) Just wanted to say that I read a posting asking about Yorkie/Pom dogs and what they were like. We have one and he is two years old. He is the best dog ever imaginable. He is the perfect family dog especially if you want an indoor dog. He doesn't shed at all. He is playful yet cuddly and so great tempered. I have a daycare in my home and he is just wonderful with the kids. He like to play fetch, in fact his miniature tennis balls are "his life"! It is so funny! He is a great protector, letting us know if someone is here, but not yippy at just everything like some dogs. I would recommend this breed to any and everyone. In fact, we just found one for my daughter who moved out on her own and loved our so much. He is just as sweet. Just thought I would post my experience in case someone is afraid to get one! Don't hesitate! |
