| Its not a yorkie story but a cute on none the less My parents own a chihuahua and went to a chihuahua festival and took Brutus and send me this email. .... We ran in to a fairly young couple with two female Chi's the same color as Brutus. While the markings were somewhat different, there were several similarities, including paint brush tails and white feet. While talking to the couple we found out the following: Their dogs were born on 5-7-2007. The breeder lives in east Mesa, and the name is Flake. When we described Brutus' parents and theirs was the same. Upon checking Brutus' papers, when we got home, the information was the same. So, it appears that Brutus met two of his sisters. And what was really strange, the lady's birthday is May 8th. Go figure. Sounds like something from the Twilight Zone. (my dad's bday is also May 8th). How cute is that, how often do dogs randomly run into their full siblings???

YT 500 Club Member | I had the same thing happen when Alfie was 6 months old. We were walking our usual rought, just later than normal when we spotted a couple walking another yorkie. We stopped and chatted, I asked how old their boy was, 6 months, then his date of birth, same as Alfie. So I saked where he came from, awnser was the same breeder, and to top it all, the same mom. They were brothers, his name is Oscar, and while Alfie was the smallest in the litter, Oscar was the largest. We met earlier this year too and you can definitly see the family resemblence. |
