Yorkie Yakker | OK YorkieTalk friends...I need words of wisdom!!! Hey everyone!! I have a beautiful 16 week "dog daughter"!! Her name is Etta and she is wonderful. So much more then I could have expected!! Of course I could go on I just love her to pieces!! Just curious, now she is teething (of course) and I know this has some effect on when the ears stay up. Both ears were up for about a week then down...then up..and now she has one that is staying up and one that flops. I have it taped and I check it every day or so. But I am just interested in any techniques that any of you have used. What has worked for you and what has failed. I have read a few different things here on YT.. also went to a few links. I have also talked to people as well. So if any of you would like to share "words of wisdom" on the subject I'd love to hear them!!! Thanks Guys Lisa |

| Hello and congrats on your baby! You could try massaging the ear or ears...that seems to help. Once over the teething stage, her ears will probably stand without any effort. Good luck!

| Bump! Sorry I'm no help. I have a floppy eared baby that came to me that way at a year old. I love the floppy ears or the standing ones, you really can't go wrong with these beauties!

| I know it is also important to keep the ears shaved so they don't get weighted down. Love your choice of a name for her. Congratulations on your new baby girl! |
