| ![]() Animla Control just left their house no one was at home again. they took pics and tagged their door. I was told that they will come everyday to see if there is food or water. They have to let teh owners take the animals to a vet to make sure that they do no t have parasites such as worms but they know they are being starved because dogs do not get that emanciated overnight. but it is a standard they have to follow. I have to write a statement and an officer is coming in the morning to pick it up. Also Two other neighbors are filling out statements. |

| ![]() Those poor babies. Good for you to take care of it! We live in the country, and one time I noticed that these people had left some goats and dogs in a penned area, and I hadn't seen any human activity in a coupke of weeks (I passed by there every day on the way to work). So, I got out of my car and went up closer to the fence, and what I saw horrified me! I called my husband on my cell to come and help me. There was one dog fenced, tied up and had wound up his rope so he couldn't even move or lie down. There were three other dogs roaming around in the enclosed area. There were also about 4 or 5 goats. NO ONE HAD ANY FOOD OR WATER! So my husband cut the rope off the one dog's neck, and he broke down the fence so they could get out. The dogs ran out and went so far we couldn't see them! Poor things. We put some food and water down for the goats and the dogs when they came back. Then we called animal control and they came out the next day. The stupid people even left colars on the dogs that had their name and phone number on them. So AC called them and they said they had taken care of them (yeah, maybe once amonth ago), but they said AC coud have them all because they moved out of the area. Nice people, huh? They move and leave all of their animal fenced in with nothing. One of the goats had a baby, and the dogs ate the poor thing! Horrible...we saw the skull and bones. Anyway, happy ending....the dogs and goats were all rescued and they all got new homes. AC does care and they do a GREAT JOB! So, hang in there and your neighbor's dogs will be taken care of, I'm sure. ![]() |
