I think it depends on the temperment of the pup then the gender . I have a very loving female , and she is good at protecting us. We love her so much.

I have both male and female and my little male Dodger Dog is just much more calm than my female Tink aka doodle... I think it all depends the dog... Good Luck

Good luck - I don't think gender makes to much difference in most dogs. I would however caution you. Terriers have been bred to hunt and kill rodents and that is probably how they are going to view the ferrets. It is wired into their DNA - so you will need to be extremely careful.

Definitely agree! Bambino is now 4 years old an dI got him when he was 12 weeks. He is not neutered and he is the sweetest, calmest, love bug ever! He is a little shy but he warms up quick and wants to be the center of attention. Make sure you know the parents and it's also in the way you socialize him and raise him

p.s. if you do get a male and don't neuter him, you'll definitely have a bit of marking issues but it's nothing major.
