| new puppy coming home tomorrow!! Billie (girl, age 6) and Ralphie (age 1) are getting a sister tomorrow! I am SO excited its ridiculous she is all I can think about!!! I have everything I need, I think...is 12 weeks old enough to not need nutrical? I got Billie last year and Ralphie only a few months back, this little one will be my first yorkie baby puppy. My hubby named her Sophie (husband says yes to dog, no problem letting him pick her name!!), there is a photo of her with her siblings in my album, and one of her too...I can't wait to have her here with us, I think her and Ralphie will be a complete riot together!! Tomorrow can't come fast enough!!! Any last minute advice would be appreciated...will Raphie be too rough with her? He is super high energy, super playful little guy. Can I let them play? I feel like jumping up and down I am so excited...getting to sleep will be a bit of a challenge tonight!!!

| It's funny to see experienced members' opinions on Nutrical only because I got my Poppy at 11 weeks and I was SO paranoid that she wasn't going to get enough nutrition (for one, I joined this forum after buying my first puppy and realizing the breeder probably should have let her stay with mom a couple more weeks to be safe) that I fed her Nutrical for a couple of months. In retrospect it probably was completely unnecessary but I thought "better be safe than sorry" as well.

| I always had the nutrical on hand when bringing home a new dog even if not a puppy. Just in case the dog would not eat and didn't want low blood sugar, not as a supplement. I would just put some in her mouth with my finger when necessary. In a day or two, the pup would begin to adjust and eat enough and then I would put it away.
