| ![]() poor baby! We have had an invasion of ant. With all this wackie weather, I've been finding new trails for the last past week or so. I have found a few on Gus after they got into his food. I cleaned out his crate and sprayed all around the room, let it dry and mopped and they have not come back. When I was pregnant with my son my daughter left some candy on the sofa. It was summer time and the only cool room in the house was the front room so I got up to go sleep on the sofa that was covered with ants. I was all bitten up and even after 4 shower I still felt as if they were all over me. So I am very careful when it comes to ants.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | ![]() I am glad that Teddy is doing okay..this has happened to Magic several times before....the first time she got bit by fire ants and had a bad reaction to it...it threw her whole body out of whack...the second time she did better, she would just scratch for a couple of days...the vet finally gave us some meds to use when they bite that helps with the swelling and itching.... Sometimes these things happen even if we are watching them carefully...if it is to happen again I would put them in the bath right away to get them off as fast as possible...and then give them tons of love and they will soon forget!!!
