I didn't think about that. Thank you I'm going to see if he has his medical records. I was so excited I forgot to ask questions

You are for sure a hero!! That poor baby was surrendered by lazy cruel people. At least they had sense to "drop" him off there instead of just letting him run the streets...Hope it all works out well. Put him up on the rehomes on here...great people always looking there I think..

Lol, I know that's why I can't keep him for long. I have a mix shih-tzu/schnauzer that was giving to me till I found a home and his still here .

Wish I was rich, but I live in an apt complex and not too big. Plus I have 3 skin kids. So 3 furkids and 3 skinkids are way too much for a mommy going to school. It won't be fair to bring him in my lil' world.

I do plan to groom him so he can look handsome to meet his new parents.

Will you let me know what size he is, etc... when you do get him? I'm sure I could find someone to take him if he's small enough to live in a home. He looked kinda big in the pic...

I didn't even bother responding back to see how they know he doesn't have any health problems. I just need to pick him up and get him out of there.

Ok, now I need your help

I'm going to give him a Capstar pill and Iverhart Plus before bringing him home. Is there anyone who doesn't recomend me doing this for whatever reason?

Anything else I should know or be aware of?

Aww, Is he in the pound? How do they know he's gonna be euthanized if he's not in the pound? I agree he needs to get out of there ASAP. I think at his age what you're planning is great

My question would be has he been tested for heartworms? Giving the medication to a dog with the disease can produce a toxic reaction.
