| Just wanted to stop in and say hello and welcome you to YT! This is a fantastic place to do all the research you will need to do in order to care for a yorkie and find a fantastic breeder! Looks like you have already gotten some great advice! One thing I did want to mention is that shipping can cost around $300 for airfare for a puppy and most reputable breeders are hesitant to ship but some will if the dog is old enough, healthy enough and they feel it can withstand the stress of flying! But hopefully you can find a great breeder in Alaska and that might solve the problem! For now enjoy all the great info you will find here as well as new friends who also truly adore this breed! :-) |

| I'm sorry this has nothing to do with the topic at hand but saw a lot of posts and am looking for help. How do I start a new topic? I think I've tried clicking on everything but haven't been successful. I have replied to a post and know how to do at least that. Someone, Please help! And once again sorry for not posting 'on topic'. Thanks, 'Zoe's mom' |

| Welcome to yt! you already got good advice in here, you can ck here in the breeder section, or breeders.net and enter your zip code area, or what about a rescue one. I would think the best is to see how the pups been raise, and meet the breder in person, I think I would do that next time, I have mine ship, they all made it fine and are healthy, either way you go, a little pray will help, God will put the right pup for you, just like he did with me ps. don't rush, take your time.

| Welcome to all the newbies that posted in this thread! To the original posters, please listen to Bama and Megansmomma. We've seen so many broken hearts all over this forum. Save yourself the heartache and be prepared to weed through all the scammers and bad breeders. To Zoedo, when you want to start a new thread, up on the top of the page, under the "YORKIETALK" banner is a button that says "Forums." Click on that. It'll take you to all the forums, each has a theme. Pictures, videos, for sale, behavior, health, etc. From there choose the one that reflects your question the best. Once you click the Forum up at the top, under the YorkieTalk banner, under User CP, there should be a button for "New Thread." Title it, and write your question, click submit and you're done! I hope this helps!!!

| Defintaly a scammer! We did the same thing, except I was so mad that I got them to call me... which was an international number. And then I got their "website" shut down. I'm sure that didn't last long. I'm glad you checked with YT! I hope you find a the pup you are looking for! We found ours on a forum at like 3 am from a family that acutally lives right down the street! Their infant was allergic so they only had him for 5 days. Good luck! And ask as many questions as you want. We are all here to help! |

Hi and another word of advise - never 'wire' money via Western Union - if you lose it to a scammer you have no recorse (You got very lucky you didn't send any money and good for that Western Union worker!) Good luck in your search - there's bound to be someone in your state that you can get in touch with - I'd look local before trying to ship a puppy if at all possible | |
