| looking for a new baby Hi all,.. It's me,. Priscilla.. been a while.. Some of you might know I had a yorkie myself Snikers.. and a year ago I left my ex.. and left my baby and my other precious dog at his. So now a year later.. im still not over it, but im pretty ready for a new baby. Im looking for a baby girl. a small one. Here is the thing. I'm goig to the States in August for a month. ( L.A , Vegas and possible Florida) Now i would like to find a baby girl there and then bring it with me back to Europe Amsterdam. Anyone know if this is possible.. and where there are possible babygirls from a good breeder. To be honest i can find a lot of yorkie sellers. but they charge sometimes between $3200 and $6000 for a baby. So my price range is a little less. Between $1000 and $2500 is a better prce range for me. I want her not to big.. but maybe adult size: 3 - 4Lbs.. Hope some of you will help me out, Thanks in advance. | I want to add something to my former post.. I think between 3.5 and 5lbs is better.. im not really good in the lbs sizes lol .. im from europe,. and we talke in Kilograms.. so even 4 or 5 lbs is small i figured out now lol. but my other yorkie was 13lbs at least. so thats pretty big hahah But i read alot about the small small very small babies.. and thats pretty scary.. So i think the weight prox about that is great. then i can still play with her without being scared that she will die or something because she is sooo tiny. |

| I would also find out if you will have to quarantine your new baby when you get home. I don't know if animals going into another country from the U.S. need to. I pretty sure they usually do coming into the U.S. so maybe vise versa. Good luck with your search Don't forget to show us pictures

| Oh good...Glad there are no quarantine regulations. I remember my Aunt's dog had to be quarantined a long time ago when they moved...I was little, but I remember hearing about it.

No Longer a Member | To travel, it would be a good idea to get the breeder to have their vet start a pet passport for your future pet. I have one that I get updated every time Rizzo gets a shot. When October comes around he'll get his booster for rabies and I will be able to take him to the UK without quarantine...at least that is what I took from the readings. Elsewhere in Europe, as long as the vet signed off that the dog is in healthy condition for travel it will suffice as a health certificate. Just a good idea. | yes thanks for this info.. I have fond out myself if i would pick my baby up in august.. i can best fly with united i find out, they have a pet safe plan or something like that. I can have her then as hand luggage with me under the seat. And that €90 .. or in the bigger luggage thing and thats €150 .. I have emailed now a few breeders what they do for shipping... i really dont know how far georgia is from florida for example.. But i will find out. i have actually fell in love with Angel.. a baby girl from GA. So maybe im lucky,. and if im not then i will soon I hope. Im still looking everywhere.. and also been on the internet for about 4 days searching etc. ppff its a pretty big business in the States. SO many people charge redicilous amount of money for their babies.. And they are soooo tiny that in my opinion is not healthy at all. pppfff. well at least im still looking.. x Quote:
