| Groomer woes Groomer woes. I had been taking Callie to petco to be groomed for at least the last 7 times and we always have the same person do it, she had been doing such a great job but I notice the time before last she did a little sloppy job and well this last time she missed a few spots of hair and the big woe is she shaved it down to the skin under her eye like where there would be tear stains on some dogs and there was a few tiny cuts. I didnt notice the mess up on her face until we were home because when I first picked her up she was mad at me because she hates to be left and would not look at me. I understand sometimes they move and accidents happen but what really bothers me is she didnt even come out and tell me it happened and there is no way she didnt know it happened. I think I have pretty much decided not to go back. I thought I had found "the" groomer but I guess not. I just want to scream because it seems so hard to find a good groomer!

| I wish you luck. My groomer retired. I have an appt with new one, but I'm going to be there breathing down her throat. If she doesn't do a good job, then the hunt is on again. Kacee's only had one person groom her in all of these years. I touched her up a few times, but she was crazy about Angie, our retired groomer. She doesn't take to just anyone, so if she doesn't like the new one, I'll trust Kacee's instinct and we'll go somewhere else...

| Sorry I wish you were closer to Annapolis area, because I could recommend 2 really good groomers. Jackson's been going to this one place, and she only keeps him for 3 hours usually, sometimes less, and has always done pretty good. And he always comes out happy. I just recently found a mobile groomer that only charges $55 (all other mobiles around here were almost $80 or more!) that I'm going to use next! That way he can stay right in my driveway!

| I see you're in Waldorf MD, I live in Crofton and have a GREAT groomer like 3 miles away, it's Glenda's Grooming. She's always done a great job! When the groomer at our vet stopped working there we found GG through our neighbor and have been going there for about a year Depending on how often you get your pup groomed it might be worth the drive. |
